WI Adolf Kantner is exposed as Stasi spy during the Flick affair

In the 1980s a string of "donations" by lobbyists for Friedrich Flick - a major German industrialist - to all major German parties was exposed. Ultimately the poilitcal impact remained limited and only a few people were convicted for tax evasion as it could not be proven that the donations had influenced political decisions and thus were bribes.

One of the people involved was Adolf Kantner, a Flick manager, CDU member and early supporter of Helmut Kohl. He also was a Stasi spy, rated by Markus Wolf himself of the same importance as Günther Guillaume. His information may also have been used in securing the credits the GDR got from the FRG in the 1980s. The Verfassungsschutz apparently had him under observation for some time, but the investigation went nowhere. Ultimately he was only exposed in the mid 90s, when it had little importance.

But WI he is proven to be a spy during the Flick affair? Or if just the fact that he is suspected as a spy reaches the public?
