Somewhere In The Skies Of The Pacific Ocean
Sometimes on 1985

Flying back to America, all that lies within Haim Saban's mind is doubt. Will this project took off? Will the kids of America accept these five-oddly colored, spandex-wearing heroes into their household? Will their toys became something big in America? Or even, will the concept of "Sentai" could embrace your standard American household's sunday morning? The concept of Sentai, in a sense, were rather foreign, despite few of those shows already made their way into America, with Hawaii being their strongest hold. Regardless, Saban's gamble, this time, is something ridiculously bigger than what Stan Lee and Marvel did with the Super Sentai series(2) long ago. Far, more, risky. With a pilot already being shot, and actors lining up for the roles of the five-oddly suited heroes, Saban now in a press of a button. Should he press the cancellation button, or the pass button? The name "Bio-Man" itself is not even the final name for the product.

The actors themselves are just mere teenagers trying to make their hit, and cancelling the project would not hinder their career. But now, what good he could get for cancelling it? Should he wait, or pick the Kamen Rider series? Or wait for a new Sentai series to be adapted? Saban is put at great odds, at these very times, and points. Shuki Levy, his best friend and also partner, did not notice this. All that Saban thought of, during the plane trip, is just his doubts over the franchise he put out. Its a show. Using footages of the Japanese series, with some new western footage being put out. What could possibly go wrong?

A thought came across his mind.

Biopower Rangers.

The best name he could get through. And a formula is thrown within his mind, on how this franchise could get on. True, sooner or later, as he planned to use the footage of future sentai series(3), the name of "Bio" must be thrown out after this.
But now, he only waited for Fox Kids's judgement.

The promotional sheet for Biopower Rangers, still bearing the Bioman name.

Featuring unknowns as the main leads of the roles, the only known, big name tied to the series is Dean Stockwell's role(4) as "Alpha-5", the compatriot of the Rangers, with the show eventually being set to premiere on 1986, with a prime, Sunday Morning slot on Fox Kids. Something that could reassure that Saban's gamble is a worthy one.

Its funny on how there are NO Power Rangers alternate timeline over here, so yeah. Here's one. On how WI: Bioman got totally adapted, not just stuck as a pilot concept episode for Zyuranger. This timeline will NOT be abandoned, and also updated every Mondays.

(1).I need a alternate name.
(2).Yup, this is a RL fact!
(3).Nope, it would be a long way till we see Zyuranger. Well, not too long, actually.
(4).YES. BECAUSE WE NEED A BIG NAME.
