The Invention of the DC Extended Universe in the 1950s and "The Golden Age of Hollywood"

I admit I was uncomfortable about this one, but I didn't want to keep this to myself anymore.

Shortly after DC Comics sells the film rights of all its characters to Warner Brothers, someone pitches the idea of a "cinematic universe" to both DC Comics and Warner Brothers. Both sides immediately become confused and intrigued.

However, word about such a concept spreads like fire in Hollywood and Warner Brothers recruits screenwriter after screenwriter to write scripts for DCEU films. Some are big hits while some are big flops.

So people, who from "The Golden Age of Hollywood" would have been perfect for such roles if the DCEU was invented back in that time?
