Sega Saturn is successful

What if Sega of America decided to hold off on releasing the Saturn to September 2, 1995 but instead of wasting time and money into making the Sega 32X and focused on making a better launch library with Sonic 4, Streets of Rage 4, Spiderman, After Burner, Fantasy Zone and find a way to use the cartridge slot for Sega Genesis backwards compatibility as well for Sega CD. Use the area where the controllers are plugged in for memory card slots and even have a rumble feature built in the controllers.

By late 1998 or 1999 Sega Saturn gets a smaller model released with various colored shells ala N64. While the Saturn is successful with a expanded game library including GTA, Metal Gear Solid, Sega Classics like Columns, Alex Kidd, Wonder Boy, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Eternal Champions, WCW Nitro, WWF WarZone and the ECW games. Sega releases a next generation Game Gear with a better batter life, 16 bit or 32 bit graphics (using OG game gear games as well makrs those games look and sound better). Even a updated TV tuner. But it has to be battery friendly like only two AA batteries even with a improved backlit screen giving it 10-12 hours at best.
