- Outgoing US Congressman Lee Moldaver (D-CA) [1], who was first elected to Congress in 2000, campaigning on behalf of Wendy Reed, who became the Democratic nominee for his congressional seat after he announced his retirement. Reed would win the seat in a landslide.

[1] Lee Moldaver was an activist who was something of a local legend in Santa Barbara. He sadly passed away in 2021 IOTL.
