French exploitation of the Grand Port victory

After the Battle of Grand Port, the French chased away the British frigate HMS Boadicea and the British troopship Bombay. The pod is that, when the events mentioned occurred on 29 August 1810, the French decided to and were successfully able to capture both British ships, although with the loss of Manche wrecked and scuttled off Ile Bonaparte. Then, survivors of the Manche would recapture the Windham and tow the Venus after being damaged by 2 British brigs (1 of them being the dismasted HMS Otter). On 13 September 1810, the Iphiginie and the Astree would capture the Africaine, only to capture the EIC brig Aurora instead, but on 18 September 1810, Victor and Venus would avoid being lost to the British that day. The Battle of Isle de France and subsequent history would proceed on as in otl with minimal to 0 butterflies. Africaine would be repaired with the masts Windham received after it sent its masts to Africaine in otl while Otter would be repaired with new masts from Ile Bonaparte's wood.

Otherwise, with a pod of 24 August 1810, the British under Lambert could order Pym to capture the French frigate Bellone at Grand Port or Lambert and his men from HMS Iphigenia alone could capture Bellone alone. The capture and announcement of the capture of Bellone would result in the French diverting fire to and destroying Bellone, aided by the British scuttling Bellone with fire to prevent capture on 24 August 1810. Simultaneously, the capture and announcement of the capture of Bellone would allow HMS Magicienne's crew to capture and scuttle the corvette Victor the same day, diverting a French shore battery to enforce the Victor's scuttling. The HMS Sirius, under fire from a French shore battery, would be scuttled the next day as in otl and the French shore battery would attack, capture and destroy the Magicienne with the aid of Magicienne's crew scuttling the Magicienne by fire also on 25 August 1810. On 26 August 1810, after boats from the Sirius and the Magicienne reached the Iphigenia and the Ile de la Passe with French prisoners, the Iphigenia would try to and successfully capture and destroy by fire the grounded French ship Ceylan and would destroy the Minerve by fire, the latter ship having taken the Nereide earlier that day. On 27 August 1810, the Iphigenia would recapture and destroy by fire the crippled Nereide before Iphigenia ended up being captured the next day as in otl. The rest of the Mauritius Campaign would proceed as in otl or as mentioned here, but with the corvette Victor useless (and likely replaced with Manche) and the French frigate Bellone's British career as HMS Junon being served by French frigate Manche instead.
