Dutch Saint Helena, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha

The Dutch, if they decided to colonize Saint Helena rather than abandon their claims to the island with a 1651 pod, might prolong colonialism of Saint Helena long enough to keep the colony going. The Dutch would still need to protect Saint Helena from the British (as the Dutch were generally aligned with the British and the Portuguese for combined naval superiority against France). After South Africa's Cape Town was lost in 1806, the British might let the Dutch keep Saint Helena, although the British might demand the Dutch hand over Saint Helena to Britain as a war reparation and/ or to ensure Napoleon's imprisonment in Saint Helena, in which case, Saint Helena would return to otl British control of Saint Helena. The Dutch in Saint Helena, after their migration patterns, cuisine and culture in Saint Helena, might bring in Indonesians for exploitation, migration patterns, cuisine and culture of Saint Helena. In the late 19th century, the Dutch would try to settle deeper into the interior of Saint Helena from the Saint Helena coast and incorporate the settlement of Boers in Saint Helena. The British, the Americans, the Indonesians and the Dutch would defend and supply the island for the Allies (including the Dutch) in WW2. After WW2 and the Indonesian War of Independence, due to the small territorial and population sizes of Saint Helena and for the same reasons Saint Helena is still British colonized today in otl, the Dutch would keep Saint Helena Dutch even today. Assuming minimal to zero butterflies. Ascension Island, if colonized by the Dutch with a pod as soon as the Dutch discovered Ascension Island in 1725, and Tristan da Cunha, if colonized by the Dutch with a pod as soon as the Dutch discovered Tristan da Cunha in 1643, might also share Dutch Saint Helena's fate in this scenario, depending on which of Saint Helena, Ascension Island or Tristan da Cunha were Dutch colonized.

In addition, with a pod of 1767, the French might keep Tristan da Cunha for themselves. If not, the Americans could keep Tristan da Cunha after capturing it and using it as a base for raiding in the War of 1812 or the neighboring Gough Island through claims by American seal hunters. It would be most likely that the British would halt the French Tristan da Cunha, the American Tristan da Cunha and the American Gough Island attempts to prevent Napoleon's escape from nearby Saint Helena with the aid of Tristan da Cunha and/ or Gough Island, but if not or if Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island were returned to their original owners, Tristan da Cunha could be French or American and Gough Island could be American today. The French in Tristan da Cunha, after their migration patterns, cuisine and culture in Tristan da Cunha, might bring in Vietnamese, Pied Noirs and Algerians for exploitation, migration patterns, cuisine and culture of Tristan da Cunha. In the late 19th century, the French would try to settle deeper into the interior of Tristan da Cunha from the Tristan da Cunha coast and incorporate the settlement of Frenchmen in Saint Helena. The British, the Americans, the Vietnamese, the Algerians, the Free French and the Pied Noirs would defend and supply the island for the Allies (including the Free French) in WW2. After WW2, the Indochina War and the Algerian War of Independence, due to the small territorial and population sizes of Tristan da Cunha and for the same reasons Tristan da Cunha is still British colonized today in otl, the French would keep Tristan da Cunha French even today. Assuming minimal to zero butterflies.

Similarly, the Americans in Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island, after their migration patterns, cuisine and culture in Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island, might bring in their own citizens for exploitation, migration patterns, cuisine and culture of Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island. In the late 19th century, the Americans would try to settle deeper into the interior of Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island and incorporate the settlement of Americans in Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island. The British and the Americans would defend and supply the island for the Allies (including the Americans) in WW2. After WW2 and the Cold War, due to the small territorial and population sizes of Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island, and for the same reasons Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island are still British colonized today in otl, the Americans would keep in Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island American even today. Assuming minimal to zero butterflies.
