The Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut are all claimed by Russia. The United States buys them along with Alaska in 1867.
As for Iceland, it's very strategic territory for North Atlantic warfare. Perhaps the USA stays opposed to Britain, and takes the territory to keep an edge up on the UK? Just an idea. As for Greenland, who knows. Maybe Denmark sells it to the US for $8 in 1950.

Greenland and Iceland could be "aquired" by Denmark being fully on Axis side in WWII. USA simply occupies the two places and never hand them back.
