An adaptation of many of the comics made by Charles Monroe Schulz, Peanuts is something of an enigma, like the source material. The show lasted from 2004 to 2011 and aired on the Fox network during the afternoon. Unlike the original source material, Peanuts featured more character development for the characters and world with the main cast changing though the episodes for the plots. The show was created in memorial of Schulz who had passed away 3 years before Season 1 started development. The series ended with the hour long special, "Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown" which focused on Linus Van Pelt as he doubts if his blanket is all that good for him.

Yes it's animated! And Fox Kids does survive! Instead Kids WB became defunct thanks to switch of shows (Fox Kids gets Pokémon (Dubbed by Funimation) and Kids WB gets Digimon (Still dubbed by Saban)).

Well Fox still works with Saban to bring Power Rangers to the west but it's a bit like 4Kids IOTL. Funimation was the one to get the rights to dub the Pokémon anime after a small bidding war happened in 1997 over who could dub the anime.

Later reedited into a theatrical movie that ran for four hours and released in limited theatres the same year. The premiere was pushed back by a month due to Emperor Hirohito's passing. This was also Yusaku Matsuda's last role, as he died due to bladder cancer in November of 1989. The last episode was dedicated to his memory.

I’m in the mood for the OTL movie and much as I like it, there is a lot of room for improvement. I decided to swap out the fictional characters and replace them with people who actually left their memoirs.

Other than that, assume that most of the cast from that movie kept their roles, except for Nagumo (TTT!’s Eijiro Tono replacing Nobuo Kaneko).

Although, I might try to develop this more, so maybe I can squeeze some more stuff out of this.

Agreed on Mifune being the best Yamamoto though - I like how he even got the real admiral’s habit of doing head stands!

So they need a second Hit besides PR, as the lack of a second hit show is what left to Murdoch to lost interest in the whole thing, especially as stricter E&I content(another thing should be not E&I for broadcast network, just make them to give more money to PBS instead) make content limited and they were willingly to find a slot to PR in primetime(that never happened as Saban Pushed SATAM as long he could) if that allow them to shut down the SATAM block

Yeah, PBS does get more money for it's kids block so they rebrand their PTV block to PBS Kids in 1997 with PBS Kids Go! arriving in 2000. Both keep their respective branding but PBS Kids still keeps it's 2007 branding and just updates the logo to the 2010 design.
