Yeah, in the timeline Geronimo, George W. Bush and Dick Cheney lost the 2004 United States presidential election to John Edwards and John Kerry.
I guess Dick Cheney is going to run in the 2008 US presidential election or is at least seen as a potential Republican candidate for 2008.
Back in OTL 2008, he didn't run and even if he did, he'd probably lose in a landslide due to his unpopularity at the time.
Without the War on Terror or the Iraq War, Cheney isn't hated as much in the US and around the world and he'd probably be just seen as another politician.

As much as I like Adventure Time and I'm glad that Cartoon Network gave it a good home, I've always found it pretty dumb of Nickelodeon to turn down the show, given that the pilot aried on Nickelodeon's Random Cartoons. I hope that Adventure Time does just as well on Nick as it did in OTL on Cartoon Network.

Global TV Was Once Canadas Own Fox Network or NBC in the 70s, 80s 90s and Early 2000s
and in the 2000s they were owned by the same people as my hometowns own CHCH
however when the 2008 recession happened global was sold to corus entertainment
(who has a stranglehold on the canadian media landscape and has ruined countless stations over the years such as YTV and Energy 108 turning them into graveyard stations or in the case of energy turning it from canadas own MARS FM, Utopia FM or 98.7 Kiss FM to a country station that only boomers on abandoned farms listened to (which also felt like a tie in to nelvanas shitty bearenstain bears reboot from OTL)
if canwest survives the AU 2008 recession then that means both global and CHCH will follow each others footsteps (by having both global and all former chch stations return to their classic logos/format instead of just CHCH Hamilton getting their classic logo back and the rest do their own thing or go under)
unlike in OTL where they had become the border security
(that contraversial show where they film people at the american border getting deported some of which were furries which made me so mad back in the day)
and post 9/11 crime drama station
Global Returns to being Canadas own FOX network/NBC and CHCH doesn't try too hard to become an adult version of the hub
