He didn't worked on it so why would he?Wait--what if Don Bluth made Mulan once he had left Disney?

Ok. Maybe it could get produced by Fox Animation Studios in the 90s then.He didn't worked on it so why would he?
The problem is that Sony lost most of its money due to the Asian market crash in 1995. With Columbia, Sony investors would be warned against any major purchases. They didn't, but those were burned movie anyway, the point is,Sony could get Columbia after almost all of Hollywood lobbied hard but Disney is impossible because all the real estate they own
I'll consider it.Ok. Maybe it could get produced by Fox Animation Studios in the 90s then.
Consider that Disney not only had major film flops on its hands (e.g. Treasure Planet, Home on the Range, Mars Needs Moms) but had flopped hard with Euro-Disneyworld. So, real estate was really expensive. Disney had already burned through billions in the 1980s with shady land deals which would be the subject of Creepypasta stories, but also attempted to create dystopian communities similar to Henry Ford. They didn't, but those were burned movie anyway, the point is,Sony could get Columbia after almost all of Hollywood lobbied hard but Disney is impossible because all the real estate they own
Huh, never knew. Maybe I'll give Disney to Harvey Weinstein or Jeffery Epstein--or I might keep Disney as a independent company since they both were accused of you-know-what.The problem is that Sony lost most of its money due to the Asian market crash in 1995. To add to the misery , remember that two biggest deal makers in Hollywood during the 1990s-2000s are Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein....

@THE KINGFISH Where Disney should go instead of Sony.So emm, what's the premise of this TL?
...long story.@THE KINGFISH Where Disney should go instead of Sony.
Goodbye Touchstone Pictures. Tom and Mickey. Wizard of Oz as a Disney movie. Just pick your poison, really.New Disney idea of sorts:
Apparently The Walt Disney Company wins MGM over Kirk and Tracinda Corp--thus surviving the early 80s.
Ted Turner would eventually find another way to enter the film and TV industry, with United Artists getting sold to him.
Plus, Rainbow Media later ends up under the mouse's wing @TheFaultsofAlts .Goodbye Touchstone Pictures. Tom and Mickey. Wizard of Oz as a Disney movie. Just pick your poison, really.
This immediately means no Julia Roberts since she was introduced to the world through Pretty Woman, which launched her career. Also consider that without Marvel Comics being purchased by Disney, Robert Downey Jr., admits he would be dead. Up until 2004, Downey was in and out of drug rehab and jail. As to how quickly a person's career can go downhill, consider that Lindsay Lohan and Edward Furlong Jr., were both considered "upcoming stars" throughout the 1990s, yet today neither star is remembered...Goodbye Touchstone Pictures. Interesting, I can also imagine New World Productions getting bought by the company too. Still figuring out what company should animate the Spider-Verse films, one choice could be ImageMovers (inspired by Timeline-GA).This immediately means no Julia Roberts since she was introduced to the world through Pretty Woman, which launched her career. Also, I'd choose Tom and Mickey @TheFaultsofAlts.Goodbye Touchstone Pictures. Tom and Mickey. Wizard of Oz as a Disney movie. Just pick your poison, really.
technically MGM become Touchstone ITTL..also who keep James bond? MGM or UA?Goodbye Touchstone Pictures. Tom and Mickey. Wizard of Oz as a Disney movie. Just pick your poison, really.
he could beat coca cola and buy Columbia insteadTed Turner would eventually find another way to enter the film and TV industry, with United Artists getting sold to him
The problem is that for MGM was hemorrhaging cash at a fast rate with flops including The Fantastic Four by Roger Corman and Captain America. Touchstone Pictures was home to Die Hard and Tim Burton films. As such MGM was not in a good place in the early 1990s. Also consider that this was immediately after the Timothy Dalton Bond films, which were considered just barely bankable...technically MGM become Touchstone ITTL..also who keep James bond? MGM or UA?

we mean the 80's far earlier than thatA big problem with Tex Turner purchasing Columbia Pictures is that it would be an extremely high price. You had Boyz N' the Hood to Men in Black.
